Remote Patient Monitoring

Remote patient monitoring (RPM) is technology used to enable monitoring of our clients in their homes, using Bluetooth enabled devices linked to our professional health staff's monitoring software.

Incorporating RPM in vulnerable client settings can significantly improve an individual's quality of life, by allowing clients to maintain independence, to prevent complications, and to minimize personal costs. RPM facilitates these goals by delivering care through digital communication. This form of patient monitoring can be particularly important when patients are managing complex self-care processes. Key features of RPM, like remote monitoring, telemedicine and trend analysis of physiological parameters, enable early detection of deterioration, thereby reducing emergency department visits, hospitalizations, and the length of hospital stays.

Early intervention and preventative care is something Care on Call is passionate about, and to this end, we have invested heavily in this field for the past 2 years to find an NZ appropriate solution. While we haven't finalised our choices with regards to the technology we'll use, we're hoping that it will be able to be used easily by any client independently, and that it will provide accurate and meaningful information in order to save and improve lives.

What Our Customers Say

What our customers say

I never failed to be impressed at how professionally and thoughtfully Care on Call managed my father’s care over his last 5 years, from a couple of visits a week in the earliest days to assistance with full-time care over his last months. All Care on Call carers were special in the things they thought of to make Dad’s time with them interesting and happy and in the respect and affection they gave him, which he certainly returned. I will always be grateful to Care on Call for the impeccable care Dad received, exactly when and how he needed it, which made it possible for him to continue living at home.
